Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Alfredo took the time to visit first, do a thorough examination and provided a detailed quote with a workplan that we agreed to in advance. He showed up on time and completed the work in the hours estimated. The result was a significant improvement in the appearance and maintainability of the tiling in our 1949 house's main bathroom. There was no peripheral damage to our house and he was very respectful of the property as he worked. Two thumbs up for AVS Floorcare and Alfredo!

Common LVP Floor Cleaning Questions

Is LVP flooring waterproof, so does it matter how it's cleaned?

While LVP is water-resistant, using the wrong products or excess water at the seams can still cause dulling, discoloration, or adhesive issues over time. Proper technique still matters.

How often should LVP floors be professionally cleaned?

We recommend a deep clean every 6–12 months to remove embedded grime that regular mopping can't reach, especially in high-traffic areas.

Can professional cleaning fix yellowing or dullness on LVP floors?

In many cases, yes. Yellowing and dullness are often caused by built-up residue from household cleaners or wax-based products, which our process is designed to strip away and restore the floor's original finish.

What products do you use on luxury vinyl plank floors?

We use pH-balanced, non-abrasive cleaning solutions designed specifically for LVP, which won't strip the protective wear layer or leave a dull film behind.

How long before I can walk on my LVP floors after cleaning?

Typically within 1–2 hours, since our extraction equipment removes the majority of moisture during the cleaning process.
